As a colorist, I paint light through relationships of color.  Working in oils and other mediums for over 30 years, I am interested in conveying something unpredicted, something more than surface apparencies.  Symbol and metaphor resonate on the canvas, especially inspired by creatures like raptors/sheep/cows/dogs, etc. or clouds’ under the glow of sunset. The canvas becomes heavy with translucence and textures of paint.
